  • Minimum number of properties: 1

  • Property name is provided.

  • Maximum number of guests is provided.

  • Property type is provided.

  • Address (incl. Country) is provided.

  • Geo-coordinates are provided.

  • Location: Properties need to be located in the countries where Whimstay operates (check in the table below).

  • Licence number is provided.

  • Description is provided.

  • Payment methods are provided.

  • Availability and Prices are provided for some season next year.

  • Photos: At least 10 photos are provided. Main photo is selected.
  • Bedding composition: There are at least as many beds available as the maximum number of guests the property sleeps.

Reservation modifications

Reservation modifications via Rentals United are not synchronised with Whimstay.

Modifications (both from guest and host) can be done via the Whimstay channel and these modifications will be synchronised to Rentals United.
Reservation cancellations

Potential cancellations made on the Whimstay website will be synchronised to Rentals United, however Whimstay indicates they are a non-cancellable website. The number of cancellations should be minimal.

Charges & Payments

Charging party Whimstay collects full payment from the traveller at the time of booking. Whimstay sends the payout for each reservation 24 hours after the guest checks in. The funds are deposited into the bank account the host sets up during the onboarding.

Commission 5%
Commission charging Whimstay commission is charged on the rent and fees (not on taxes).
Commission application The commission is deducted from the rent and fees amount of each booking. Whimstay remits our commission from the host’s payout prior to depositing the funds into the bank account.
